As many as 2,000 jobs could be created if plans for a massive new warehouse get the go ahead.

Online grocer Ocado is planning to build a £200m distribution centre at Birch Coppice Business Park in north Warwickshire.

The BBC understands the firm, which delivers to customers of its partner Waitrose, is close to signing a deal for the purchase of 35 acres of land.

It is believed a planning application has already been submitted.
