Fifth man charged over Birmingham shopkeeper's death

A fifth man has been charged with the murder of a Birmingham shopkeeper.

Suppiah Tharmaseelen, 48, was stabbed to death at his Select Convenience Store, in College Road, Kingstanding, on 27 November.

A 24-year-old from Kingstanding, Birmingham, was charged with murder and robbery earlier and is due to appear before Sutton magistrates on Saturday.

Four other men, including twins, have previously been charged with murder and robbery and were remanded in custody.
