Shot fired at Tipton pub as police probe bottle injury

A shot was fired through a West Midlands pub window as police were inside following an earlier incident.
Police were called to the Harrier Public House in Tipton during the early hours of Saturday after reports of a man, aged 21, getting a neck injury.
The injury is thought to have been caused by a bottle. A man has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
As police were inside a gunshot was fired from outside, smashing a bottle.
No-one was hurt in that incident.
The injured man has been taken to hospital where his condition is described as stable.
The incident where the 21-year-old man was injured took place at about 0100 GMT. The gunshot was fired at 0424 GMT.
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to ring West Midlands Police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
