Birmingham nightclub closed following police raid

A Birmingham nightclub is to close for the weekend after police said they found a firearm and knives there during a raid.
West Midlands Police and UK Borders Agency staff executed a warrant at the Hakuna Matata club in Dale End during the early hours.
A police spokesman said class A and B drugs were also found during a search.
Five people were arrested and the club has shut voluntarily for the weekend, police said.
Two men and two women were arrested for drugs offences.
Another man was arrested over immigration matters.
Eighty clubbers in the building were led out in small groups and searched while traffic around the club was diverted away from the area.
