£3.6m to improve Walsall's school buildings

More than 20 primary and secondary schools in Walsall are to share in a £3.6m investment for their buildings.

The improvements, which will include rewiring and re-roofing for some schools, has been agreed by the borough council.

A council spokesman said the improvements should resolve some of the most serious conditions.

Joseph Leckie College, where pupils once filmed its poor state, is among the recipients.
