Police say they are "very concerned" for the safety of a teenage couple from the West Midlands who have been missing for more than a week.

Officers believe Charlotte Ford, 15, from Wordsley, is with her boyfriend Luke Jarvis, 15, of Bilston.

Charlotte has long blonde hair and is about 5ft 4ins tall. She has not been seen since 26 June.

Luke, described as 5ft 5ins and thin with short light brown hair cut in a spiky style, was last seen on 27 June.

Supt Stuart Johnson, from Dudley Police, said: "Despite significant searches by both police and family and friends, we are yet to locate either of them or receive any contact to confirm they are safe and well."

'Check sheds'

Charlotte has not been seen since leaving home to meet a friend on 26 June.

She was reported missing by her parents after failing to meet up with the friend or return home.

Luke has not been seen since he left a relative's address in Barnett Close, Bilston, on 27 June.

The teenager, who turns 16 on Thursday, was reported missing on 1 July.

The pair were seen together at Dudley bus station on 26 June at about 1700 BST.

Supt Johnson said Luke was known to have various contacts around the Tipton and Bilston areas.

He said: "We urge people to be aware of the couple and to report any sightings to police.

"It could be that they are sleeping rough and so we urge people to check sheds, garages and any other outbuildings where someone could stay.

"We now know that Luke and Charlotte were definitely together during the time that Charlotte has been considered a missing person."

Charlotte, who has a Welsh accent, has brown eyes and could be wearing white jeans and a white vest top, grey Nike trainers, and a pale blue and grey top.
