Birmingham riot: Another male charged over Winson Green deaths

Another man has been charged in connection with the deaths of three men killed during rioting in Birmingham.

Haroon Jahan, 21, and brothers Shazad Ali, 30, and Abdul Musavir, 31, died after being hit by a car on Dudley Road, Winson Green, on 10 August.

A 29-year-old man arrested on Tuesday has been charged with their murders and will appear before the city's magistrates on Thursday.

Another 29-year-old man arrested on Tuesday has been bailed.

Four people, including a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, have already been charged with murder.

Adam King, 23, of no fixed address; Joshua Donald, 26, of Kelsall Croft, Ladywood; Ian Beckford, 30, from Quinton; and the 16-year-old; are charged with murder and have been remanded in custody.

Liam Young, 28, of Bryant Road, Winson Green has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

Four other males are on bail while police investigations continue.
