Police name motorist killed in Barnt Green crash

A 31-year-old man killed in a car accident in north Worcestershire on Friday night has been named.

James Ansell, from Cofton Hackett, died when his Peugeot collided with a VW Beetle on Kendal End Road in Barnt Green at 23:05 GMT.

The female driver of the Beetle and her male passenger are both still in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, and are in a stable condition.

West Mercia Police has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
