Moseley car crash victim named as Mohammad Nawaz

A driver who died when his car overturned in a crash in Birmingham has been named by police.

Mohammad Nawaz was driving in Moseley when his car hit "street furniture", left the road and overturned.

West Midlands Police said the crash happened at about 23:50 BST on Monday, on Wake Green Road near the junction with Gracewell Road.

Ambulance staff were unable to save the 24-year-old who was confirmed dead at the scene.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
