Third man dies after Birmingham Bristol Road car crash

A third man has died a day after a crash in which a car hit a tree in Birmingham.

The grey MG ZR car hit a tree in Bristol Road, Edgbaston, near Pebble Mill Road, early on Sunday morning. Two passengers, both aged 24, died at the scene.

West Midlands Police said a third passenger, a 26-year-old man, died on Monday.

The driver of the car suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Bristol Road was shut for several hours after the collision.
