CCTV of Wolverhampton pub attack suspects released

CCTV footage of two men suspected of attacking a man in the toilets of a Wolverhampton pub has been released by police.

The attack inside the male toilets of the George Wallis pub in Victoria Street, left the victim with a fractured skull and eye socket.

The victim, a 29 year-old-man from Wolverhampton, was head-butted from behind by one man, and the other punched him in the face.

The assault took place on 9 March.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.

The first suspect is described as mixed-race, aged 25-30, medium build, 5ft 7in with a shaved head.

The second man is described as white, aged over 30, of the same height, with a heavy build.

Det Con Joanne Dyer said: "This was a nasty attack on a man while using the male toilets inside the pub which left him with serious injuries and I am hoping someone will recognise the two men responsible and contact us as soon as possible."
