Teen stabbed in back in Yardley park disturbance
A 16-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in the back during a suspected fight in a Birmingham park.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance at Oaklands Recreation Ground on Holder Road, Yardley, at around 16:00 BST on Thursday.
Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of public order offences, police said.
They remain in police custody for questioning.
In July last year, schoolboy Hassan Mahmood, 15, was fatally stabbed during a pre-arranged fight in the same park.
Daniel Ekemba, 17, was jailed for life in April after he was found guilty of Mr Mahmood's murder.
