Glynis Bensley death: Third arrest over killing of woman

A third person has been arrested over the killing of a woman found in a West Midlands street.

Glynis Bensley, 47, was discovered in Cheshire Road, Smethwick, on 3 September. A post mortem test confirmed she died of head injuries.

A 20 year-old-man, who lives locally, was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of her murder.

A 13-year-old boy charged with murder has appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court for a preliminary hearing.

A provisional trial date was set for 2 March 2015, and he was remanded to secure youth accommodation.

A 14-year-old boy arrested last week in connection with her death is on police bail.
