An Aston Villa fan has been banned from attending football matches for three years following disorder at Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final.

David Moore, of Morris Croft, Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, admitted failing to comply with a football banning order at Birmingham Magistrates' Court.

The 26-year-old was also given a 12-week curfew and a community service order at Monday's hearing.

Moore was one of 17 people arrested following the disturbances.

At the time he was subject to another football banning order imposed in April 2013.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said there was no suggestion Moore had been involved in the disorder itself.

The new ban prevents him attending any UK football stadium to watch a match for the next three years.
