Man, 57, dies following stabbing in Oldbury

A 57-year-old man has died after being found outside his home with serious injuries following a stabbing.

Emergency services were called just before 2200 BST on Friday to Marshall Road, Oldbury, West Midlands.

The man, who was pronounced dead in hospital, had been drinking that evening in The George pub, George Road.

Police are keen to trace a man seen in the area at the time described as being in his mid 20s to 30s, white, 5ft 7ins tall, and wearing a blue tracksuit top.

A post-mortem examination was due to take place later.
