Two arrested after Oldbury stab murder

Two men have been arrested over the murder of a 57-year-old man who was found outside his West Midlands house with serious stab wounds.

Emergency services were called to Marshall Road, Oldbury, just before 2200 BST on Friday.

Police have identified the victim as Charles Kelly. He was was taken to hospital where he later died.

A 50-year-old man and a 40-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of murder, police said.

'Contact police'

Police said Mr Kelly, known locally as Charlie, was a father-of-six lived who lived at his house with his wife, son and son's girlfriend.

Ch Insp Sarbjit Johal, of West Midlands Police, said: "We have carried out house-to-house queries, CCTV trawls and extensive forensic searches have taken place.

"A family liaison officer has also been appointed to help support the family at this difficult time.

"I would urge anyone with information, no matter how big or small, to come forward and let us or Crimestoppers know."
