Arrest over man's head injuries

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man suffered serious head injuries in the West Midlands.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Ryle Street, Blakenall, Walsall, at about 0300 BST on Saturday with reports a man had suffered serious injuries.

The 20-year-old man who was injured was in a critical but stable condition in hospital, West Midlands Police said.

Police urged anyone with information to contact them.
