Bronze weighing almost four tonnes has been stolen from a Cleckheaton foundry.

The metal bars are believed to have been stolen from F W Birkett & Sons in Hightown Road overnight on 23 July, West Yorkshire Police said.

CCTV images show a van at the back of the property during the time the theft is believed to have taken place.

Two men are seen in the van, one wearing an orange high visibility jacket and shorts, the other wearing a dark T-shirt and gloves.

Anyone with information about the theft is urged to contact West Yorkshire Police.
