Police seize 1,500 cannabis plants in a raid in Bristol

Two men have been arrested after police discovered a cannabis factory at a former florist's shop in Bristol.

Officers raided the property in Broadwalk, Knowle and found about 1,500 mature cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £1m.

Hydroponics equipment and drug-related paraphernalia were also seized during the search - part of an ongoing investigation called Operation Beacon.

The two men were arrested on suspicion of production of a controlled drug.
