Thousands expected at Bristol Harbour Festival

The Bristol Harbour Festival is under way, with more than 200,000 people expected to attend.

The annual festival, described as one of the biggest free city centre events in the South West, started on Friday night with music in Queen Square.

It includes dance, market stalls, tall ships and fireworks.

The festival has expanded from the harbourside into Castle Park this year. Penny Brohn Cancer Care is the event's official charity.

The three-day event also features the Bristol village fayre for the first time.
