Woman charged with murder after Bristol man's death

A second person has been charged with the murder of a 50-year-old man found dead in the St Paul's area of Bristol.

Earl Swaby's body was discovered at a flat in Ashley Court, off Ashley Road, just before 1800 BST on Thursday.

Samantha Smith Clark, 26, of no fixed address, was remanded in custody by the city's magistrates.

Ms Clark and co-defendant Darren Jackson, 33, also of no fixed address, are due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday.

Mr Jackon appeared before magistrates on Monday, also charged with murder.
