Man arrested over Hartcliffe sex attacks

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and indecent assault in Bristol.

It follows a rape in June and and an attempted sexual assault in September - both in Hareclive Road, Hartcliffe.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said the man was arrested on Wednesday night and later bailed.

Two men previously held, a 38-year-old in relation to the rape, and a 27-year-old over the assault, have been eliminated from the investigation.
