Seven arrested in Bristol drug raids

Seven people, including a teenage girl, have been arrested in a series of drug raids in Bristol.

Avon and Somerset police officers executed warrants on properties in the Lawrence Weston, Sea Mills and Henbury areas of the city earlier.

A spokesman said they found a "substantial" amount of what was believed to be Class A and B drugs and about £4,000 in cash.

Four men, two women and the 17-year-old were arrested.

A police spokesman said the four men, aged 20, 21, 22 and 23, two women aged 24 and 40 and the girl were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.

They remain in police custody.
