Window smashed at Don Foster's office A brick was thrown through the window of Don Foster's office

A brick has been thrown through a window at the constituency office of Liberal Democrat MP Don Foster.

Nobody is thought to have been at the office in Bath at the time of the incident in the early hours of Friday but Mr Foster has since arrived.

Police officers were called to the building to investigate.

Mr Foster was among the MPs who voted for a rise in university tuition fees during a debate at the House of Commons on Thursday.

Mr Foster said: "Sadly it is disappointing that somebody would do this sort of thing."

He added that police advised him to keep the blinds pulled down at the office.
