Police name Bristol murder victim

A man who was found dead in a flat in Bristol city centre has been named by police.

Karol Krawczyk, 31, from Poland, was discovered in Frogmore Street on Sunday, 12 December. He had suffered serious head and facial injuries

Two men aged 27 and 34 and a woman aged 29 were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.

A 40-year-old man who was also arrested was released on bail pending further inquiries.

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for anyone who saw an altercation opposite the entrance to Bristol Ice Skating rink at about 1030 GMT on Saturday 11 December.

A force spokesman said it started at St Augustine's Parade and moved up past Bristol Hippodrome.

He said a man who police think could help the investigation spoke to the officers at the scene.

The force is appealing for the man, and any other witnesses, to come forward.
