Murder accused remanded after death in Bristol flat

A man has been remanded in custody after appearing before magistrates charged with the murder of man found dead in a flat in Bristol city centre.

Karol Krawczyk, 31, from Poland, was discovered in Frogmore Street on 12 December. He had suffered serious head and facial injuries.

Mariusz Trybus, 34, was ordered to appear before Bristol Crown Court on 23 December.

Three people arrested in connection with the death are currently on bail.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said a 27-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman who were arrested on suspicion of murder had been bailed, pending further inquiries.

A 40-year-old man who was arrested later was also released on bail after questioning.
