Mystery woman who collapsed in Bristol now identified

The identity of an unknown woman, who was taken to hospital after collapsing in a Bristol street, has now been confirmed, police said.

She was found on Wednesday at a bus stop in Horfield after suffering what was believed to be a heart attack.

The woman was taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary where staff asked police to help trace a relative or friend.

Officers said that following a publicity appeal, somebody had now come forward to identify her.
