Keynsham regeneration mock-up

An image showing what Keynsham town centre could look like following a £33m makeover has been revealed.

The illustration, showing the new shops and offices, was presented to residents at a meeting on Tuesday.

Dr Peter Roberts, from the Keynsham Heritage Trust, said: "The public meeting was very positive about the initial concept visuals."

Bath and North East Somerset Council is behind the regeneration scheme and will now consult on the plan.

The Conservative-run council approved plans to spend £200m over five years on projects, including £33m in Keynsham town centre.
