Motorcyclist killed in collision on roundabout is named

A motorcyclist who died when his bike was involved in a collision with a car on a roundabout in South Gloucestershire has been named.

Russell Perks, of Newport, south Wales, crashed with the Citroen Saxon on the roundabout under the M4 at its junction with the M49 on Saturday evening.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said the 52-year-old was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
