Driver denies Bristol pavement attempted murder

A man has denied attempted murder after a woman was hit by a car which mounted a pavement in the Bedminster area of Bristol.

Luke Julius, 25, of Lynton Road in Bedminster, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent, dangerous driving and battery.

Bristol Crown Court heard on Friday that the incident happened on 11 September this year.

Julius was remanded in custody until another hearing on 16 December.
