Ex-housemaster denies further indecent assault charges

A former housemaster from Bristol charged with seven indecent assaults against boys has appeared in court to deny a further two similar charges.

David Lowe, 61, of Charlotte Street South, also denies the previous charges.

The attacks allegedly happened at Westminster Cathedral Choir School, central London, and Ampleforth College, North Yorkshire.

Hammersmith magistrates committed his case to Southwark Crown Court.

Mr Lowe was released on conditional bail until his appearance at the crown court on 22 October.

A trial date has previously been set for 12 January at the same court for the earlier charges.

Mr Lowe was a housemaster at Westminster Cathedral Choir School, an academically-selective fee-paying Catholic prep school in Victoria. He also taught at Ampleforth College.

All the offences are alleged to have happened between 1978 and 1984.
