A man arrested following the murder of a 38-year-old in South Gloucestershire has been released on bail.

Jason Betts, from Yate, was found unconscious, with head injuries, in a flat in Celestine Road on Thursday and later died in hospital.

Avon and Somerset Police said they were treating it as murder "due to the injury he received and the suspicious nature of his death".

A man, 37, from London was arrested on Saturday.
