Bristol bus brick attack leaves man with serious head injury

A 65-year-old man suffered potentially life changing injuries when he was hit on the head by a brick thrown at a bus.

Police said the brick was thrown at the number 90 bus, smashing a window as it reached Inns Court Avenue in Knowle, Bristol, at about 23.30 BST, on Monday.

The victim was taken to hospital where his condition deteriorated but was now "stable", Avon and Somerset Police said.

Anyone with information is asked the force.
