Bristol house fire: Woman, 91, dies

A 91-year-old woman has died in a house fire in Bristol.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service was called to a two-storey property in Sylvan Way, Sea Mills, at 19:55 BST on Tuesday.

Firefighters managed to rescue the woman from the fire but paramedics were unable to save her and she died at the scene.

The fire caused extensive damage to the ground floor. An investigation has found the cause was accidental.
