Cambridgeshire council and health trust to share post

A council and health trust in Cambridgeshire are to share a director of communications to save money.

Peterborough City Council and Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are currently advertising for the role.

The organisations have been criticised for offering a £90,000 a year salary.

But deputy council leader Matthew Lee said it was one of the first areas in the country to try the idea and would save the trust and council money.
