Two killed in car and lorry crash in Cambridgeshire

Two people have been killed in a crash between a lorry and a car in Cambridgeshire.

It happened on Brockley Road in Elsworth between Huntingdon and Cambridge on Wednesday afternoon.

Fire crews from St Ives and Huntingdon, along with paramedics and the police, attended the scene of the accident.

East of England Ambulance Service spokesman Gary Sanderson said crews were called shortly after 1700 BST. The road was closed after the crash.
