Views sought on Peterborough cemeteries plan
- Published
Peterborough residents are being asked for their views on plans for a new cemetery to meet the burial needs of the city over the next 100 years.
The city council's existing cemeteries have space for another four to six years.
Council planners have identified three potential sites to the west of the city - two on the outskirts of Ailsworth and one near Milton Park Golf Course.
The council is now looking for local peoples' views on the plans.
Residents are being asked to submit their comments on the suggested sites during a four-week public consultation from Tuesday, 31 August to Monday, 27 September.
