Sex attack on morning dog walker in Peterborough

A woman in her early 50s was sexually assaulted as she walked her dog in a field near Peterborough.

The attack happened at about 0600 BST on Saturday north of Clayton in Orton Goldhay.

The attacker grabbed the woman, who struck him, and he walked off in the direction of a BMX track.

The man is described as white, in his early 20s, around 5ft 7in (1.7m) with a "bad" complexion, a police spokesman said.

He wore a padded black bomber-style jacket and dark trousers.

Police are keen to speak to another dog walker who was in the area at the time.
