Emergency sewer work shuts Cambridge road

Emergency repair work on a sewer means a busy Cambridgeshire road will be closed.

A dip has appeared in St Andrews Street, Cambridge, which Anglian Water believes could be a collapsed sewer.

The company will be investigating and then carrying out repairs on the road from Monday 11 October for about two weeks.

St Andrews Street will be closed between Downing Street and Emmanuel Street and diversions in place.
