Small polling areas could merge in Cambridgeshire

Smaller polling districts could be merged in an area of Cambridgeshire under a council plan.

Cambridge City Council is proposing to merge districts in Cherry Hinton, Coleridge and Trumpington with their larger neighbours.

The council said people in the small districts already share the polling stations with the larger ones.

Members of the public can put their views forward on the proposal until Friday 29 October.
