Temporary thaw brings ice hazard in Cambridgeshire

Temperatures rose overnight bringing a temporary thaw in Cambridgeshire but the cold is set to return, experts say.

The Mill Road Winter Fair is under way in Cambridge which has so far escaped heavy snow fall.

The cold is not affecting the crowds attending the fair which showcases the many different nationalities living in that part of the city.

However, temperatures are falling once again and police have issued warnings of icy stretches developing on roads.

They are asking drivers to take care.
