Coach driver cut free after A14 crash in Cambridgeshire

A coach driver had to be cut free after his vehicle was in collision with a lorry on the A14 in Cambridgeshire.

He was released unhurt but the lorry driver, who suffered neck and back injuries, was treated by ambulance staff.

The coach passengers, mostly young people from the King's Community Church in Norwich, were unhurt.

The accident happened at about 09:00 BST on the westbound carriageway of the A14 between Godmanchester and Spittals.

One lane of the A14 was closed for almost three hours as a result of the accident.

The passengers were transferred to another vehicle to continue their journey to a holiday camp in Prestatyn.
