Chittering murder: Police divers search River Cam
Police divers are searching a river in connection with the murder of a pensioner in Cambridgeshire last year.
Llywelyn Thomas, 76, was found dead at his Chittering home on 18 December.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Police said divers were searching the River Cam at Fen Ditton for "evidence that might help with the investigation".
Detectives believe Mr Thomas, a retired farmer who had moved to the area from south Wales 12 years earlier, was killed during a burglary.
Four men arrested in connection with the murder remain on bail.
Post-mortem tests found Mr Thomas died from face and head injuries which may have been inflicted with a poker.
The police spokesman confirmed detectives were still looking for items believed to have been taken during the incident, including three "distinctive" watches - a Seiko Bell-Matic, a boxed Tag Heuer and a copied Breitling, a leather horseshoe wallet and a collection of coins.
Rewards totalling £50,000 have been offered for information leading to the conviction of those responsible.
