Peterborough crash driver suffers 'nasty' injuries
A driver who had to be cut free from their car has been left with "nasty" injuries following a two-vehicle crash on a motorway, police said.
Emergency services were called to an area of the A1(M) south of junction 17 near Peterborough at 09:10 BST.
One driver was treated for "serious but not life-threatening" injuries, a Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said.
The road was closed for several hours for investigations.
There may be "significant tailbacks" due to the volume of Easter getaway traffic on the roads, the spokesman warned.
