Cyclist and motorist airlifted after crash in Cornwall

Two people have been airlifted to hospital following a collision between a car and a bicycle in Cornwall.
The cyclist suffered serious leg injuries in the crash in the Ross Bridge area of Penzance on Friday afternoon.
The motorist had to be cut out of the car and the pair were flown to hospital in Treliske by Cornwall Air Ambulance. Their conditions are not known.
The road was blocked for some time while an investigation was carried out.
