Body found in suspicious fire in Bodmin

A body has been found after a suspicious house fire in Cornwall.

Firefighters tackled the blaze on Vivian Road, Bodmin, at about 0325 BST and later contacted the police.

It was initially believed the property was empty but a body, which has not yet been identified, was discovered at about 0720 BST.

Police are also investigating whether a car fire in Hillside Park, just under a mile from Vivian Road, is linked to the incident.
