Cornwall plant hire boss harboured stolen goods

The owner of a plant hire company in Cornwall has pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods.

Jack Harvey, 68, of Polwhele, pleaded guilty to nine charges at Truro Crown Court.

The court heard that Harvey was arrested after police raided the Jack Harvey Plant Hire site and discovered much of the plant was stolen property.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Truro Crown Court for sentencing on 10 September.
