Cornwall rescue teams save dog from Penzance gully

Coastguards and an RNLI crew have saved a dog that fell 10m (30ft) down a gully in Cornwall.

The Scottie dog was lying lifeless on rocks at Cudden Point, near Penzance.

A Penlee lifeboat man waded through a heavy swell to resuscitate the dog which was then winched to safety by Penzance coastguard rescue team.

Due to the deteriorating sea conditions, the lifeboat man was also winched up the cliff. The dog is expected to make a full recovery.
