A holidaymaker has been seriously hurt while surfing in Cornwall.
The 50-year-old woman from London was body boarding at Harlyn Bay when she came off her board in shallow water and hit her head on the sea bed.
Falmouth Coastguard co-ordinated the woman's rescue after the alarm was raised by a member of the public just before 1700 BST.
An RNAS Culdrose helicopter airlifted the woman to hospital in Truro. She has suspected spinal injuries.
