Cornwall man appears in court over Corby Craze's murder

A man charged with murdering a Cornwall mother-of-two has appeared in court.

The body of Corby Craze, 43, was found by emergency services following a fire at her house in Vivian Road, Bodmin, on 14 August.

Terence Whitham of Lower Bore Street, Bodmin, who is charged with murder as well as theft and criminal damage, appeared at Truro Crown Court.

No plea was taken and the 33-year-old was remanded in custody to reappear in court on 7 January.

A 22-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman who were arrested and released on suspicion of helping an offender remain on bail.
